His service has earned him multiple public service awards, including recognition from his synagogue.
Mr. Massel’s leadership extends beyond the courtroom—he served three years as president of the New York Chapter and nine years on the National Board of American youth hostel organization, including one year as vice president. He is also a board member of the Leukemia Society. A member of the New York State Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Mr. Massel continues to inspire through his lifelong commitment to legal advocacy and humanitarian service. Married for 11 years with six children, he enjoys photography and cherishing time with his grandchildren.
